Terms of service

Last updated: 24 March 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Consolync platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Consolync is a music marketing platform that enables artists, labels, and music professionals to create SmartLink landing pages (Bio, Release, and Playlist pages), run advertising campaigns via integrated ad platforms, and analyze fan engagement. Users may upload images, write descriptions, add custom links, and configure ad campaigns through the platform.

3. Account registration and security

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@consolync.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Prohibited content

You may not upload, publish, or link to content that:

  • Infringes copyright or trademark — including album artwork, logos, or music you do not have rights to distribute.
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or facilitates phishing — pages impersonating other artists, fake giveaways, or links to malicious websites.
  • Contains malware or malicious code — links that download harmful software or redirect through malicious intermediaries.
  • Promotes hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence — content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we maintain a zero-tolerance policy. Any such content will be immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
  • Is spam or misleading — pages created solely for SEO manipulation, affiliate link farming, or deceptive redirect chains.
  • Promotes illegal activities — including but not limited to drug trafficking, weapons sales, or financial fraud.

5. DMCA takedown procedure

Consolync respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material to be removed, with sufficient information to locate it (e.g., the SmartLink URL).
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-notification: If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with your contact information, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake. We will forward your counter-notification to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.

6. Repeat infringer policy

Consolync will terminate or disable the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Specifically:

  • First valid complaint: Content removed, user notified.
  • Second valid complaint: Content removed, formal warning issued.
  • Third valid complaint: Account permanently terminated.

7. Content reporting

Every public SmartLink page includes a “Report” link. If you encounter content that violates these Terms, please use the Report function or email abuse@consolync.com. We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.

8. Termination and suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. We may remove content or disable SmartLinks without prior notice if we reasonably believe they violate these Terms or applicable law. Users may appeal moderation decisions by contacting support@consolync.com.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Consolync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
